   1. W.A. Mozart Concerto in Eb, K. 417, mvt 1 OR W.A. Mozart Concerto in Eb, K. 495, mvt 1 – performed with piano accompaniment

2. Final Round (live) on Friday Aug 5 at IHS54 – Choose ONE
   1. Camille Saint-Saens Morceau de Concert, Op. 94, mvt 1 & 2 OR mvt 2 & 3
   2. Richard Strauss Concerto No. 1 in Eb, Op. 11, mvt 1 & 2 OR mvt 2 & 3

Competition Rules and Regulations

1. All competitors must be registered for the both IHS54 Youth Days (Friday & Saturday Aug 5-6.)
2. Registration and Pre-recorded Preliminary Round submission deadline is 11:59 PM on May 31, 2022 in the IHS54 Marketplace Store. No late submission will be accepted.
3. Pre-recorded submissions are to be emailed to Jennifer.sholtis@tamuk.edu.
4. Competition is free and open to all players 13 and under 18 by Aug 5, 2022.
5. Individuals are responsible for their own travel, room & board, IHS54 Youth Day registration, etc.
6. The host has the right to cancel the competition at any time if the minimum number of 3 participants is not reached.
7. An accompanist will be provided at the Final Round (live) on Friday Aug 5, if needed. Competitors may bring their own accompanist. Piano will be tuned to A=440.
8. The IHS54 Youth Days Solo Horn Competition Committee has the right to cancel a winner at no cost to IHS54 if the winner fails to abide by all Competition Rules and Regulations.
9. Competition Judges reserve the right to not declare a winner.
10. Winner will receive 1) a refund of the IHS54 registration fee, 2) a certificate, 3) a performance in masterclass, 4) a performance in a Concert on Saturday August 6, 2022.
