IHS54 COVID-19 Policy

The safety of all IHS54 participants, attendees, and exhibitors is of utmost importance. We ask that you take personal responsibility to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Vaccines and boosters are strongly recommended, but not mandatory for attendance of the symposium.

Proof of a negative COVID test 1-3 days prior to arrival at the symposium is mandatory for all participants traveling domestically and 1-4 days prior to arrival for all participants traveling internationally, no matter your vaccination status. See details below.

  1. On-site COVID-19 actions:
    1. We ask that you take personal responsibility to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Vaccines and boosters are strongly recommended, but not mandatory for attendance of the symposium.
    2. All participants traveling domestically must show proof of a negative at-home antigen rapid COVID test 1-3 days prior to the symposium and 1-4 days for participants traveling internationally, no matter your vaccination status.
    3. Negative test results can be shown as either an image or shown with the test indicator at the IHS54 Registration Desk upon check-in.
    4. Persons displaying COVID symptoms must take a COVID-19 test and refrain from in-person activity, i.e. face to face events and activities, until the test results show a negative result.
  2. General COVID-19 Protocol:
    1. Mask are optional but highly recommended for close contact indoor activities, such concerts and presentations.
    2. Regular hand washing and sanitizing recommended.
  3. Facility COVID-19 Protocol:
    1. High traffic spaces sanitized regularly
    2. Sanitation stations and wipes available at entrances and throughout campus buildings
